Mohamed Eltarabily was awarded a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering in May, 2009 from the Faculty of Engineering, Suez Canal University, Egypt. He was awarded a M.Sc. in Civil Engineering with the thesis title "Studying the Effect of Core Clay on Seepage" from the Faculty of Engineering, Port Said University in May, 2012. He got his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the Egypt–Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), Egypt in February, 2017 with the thesis title "Experimental and Numerical Study of Fertilizers Impact on Nile Delta Groundwater Aquifer".
Eltarabily was employed as a demonstrator in the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Port Said University from January, 2009 to July, 2012. Then, he was employed as assistant lecturer in the same department from July, 2012 to April, 2017. He acted as a visiting scholar in the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan from February, 2016 to November, 2016. Now, he is working as an assistant professor in the Civil Engineering Department (from May, 2017 till now) while acting as the coordinator of Construction Engineering Program, Faculty of Engineering, Port Said University, Egypt.
