Linda Lapiso is an electrical engineer with a master’s degree in urban management and development. As a senior technical and business consultant in construction and energy, she is dedicated to advancing global electricity access. Her areas of interest include capital structuring for electricity producers and financial negotiations in wholesale electricity markets.

Her career highlights feature being a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow, a 2017 Joint Japan World Bank Scholar, a 2019 Afrika Kommt Fellow, and a McKinsey & Co Forward Program graduate. As a Humphrey Fellow, she aims to delve into innovative financing strategies for electricity projects and explore how utility profit incentives can drive infrastructure development and enhance energy efficiency for accelerated electrification.
