Ms. Ishaq holds a Master’s degree in the Science of Hydrology from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She has been working for the Ministry of Irrigation for more than 12 years in different sections and has been involved in many different water resources planning and management projects. She is responsible for the development of plans for the directorate and preparing hydrological studies for different irrigation projects. As a Humphrey Fellow, Ms. Ishaq will focus on the use of GIS and Remote Sensing and its applications for sustainable use and management of water resources. She would also like to develop her professional networking among specialists in the field of water resources studies.
