Neo Dorothy Nthoesane is an assistant director with over ten years’ experience within the Department of Mineral Resources. Neo adjudicates environmental impact assessments for prospecting and mining development applications. She is driven by her passion for responsible mining and the promotion of environmental best practices. Upon the completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Neo plans to advance the processes relating to the rehabilitation of land disturbed and impacted by historical diamond mining.
